1. Copyright Ownership

Authors publishing in Qubahan Political Journal (QPJ) agree to transfer copyright in their accepted manuscripts to Qubahan Political Journal upon execution of the journal's Copyright Transfer Agreement.

The transfer covers the exclusive rights to reproduce, publish, distribute, communicate, and make the published work available, subject to the applicable open-access license and any rights expressly reserved in the agreement.

The journal recognizes the authors' moral rights, including proper attribution, in accordance with applicable law.

2. Open Access and Licensing

All articles are published with immediate, permanent open access under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).

Under this license, readers may access, download, copy, and redistribute published articles in any medium or format for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given, the original publication is acknowledged, a link to the license is included, and modified versions are not distributed.

No subscription, payment, registration, or embargo is required to access published articles.

3. Author Rights

Following copyright transfer, authors retain the rights granted to users under the applicable Creative Commons license. Authors may share and deposit the unmodified published Version of Record in institutional repositories, personal academic websites, and other non-commercial scholarly platforms, provided they include appropriate citation and a link to the article's DOI.

Authors retain rights over material they own that is expressly excluded from the transfer agreement.

4. Third-Party Materials

Authors are responsible for obtaining necessary permissions for copyrighted third-party materials included in their manuscripts. Any material excluded from the article's Creative Commons license must be clearly identified, with its applicable copyright and reuse conditions.

5. Copyright Transfer Agreement

Copyright transfer must be documented through an agreement approved by all copyright holders or their authorized representatives. The agreement takes effect according to its stated terms and does not override the rights granted under the Creative Commons license.
